Proper system grounding is crucial to preserving RF resistance throughout an audio system. A bad link in the system ground can cause RF to penetrate the sound system chain. The use of foil shielded mic cable with a drain wire is not recommended. To successfully combat RF reception over your cable runs choose a multi-conductor cable with a braided shield extending the entire length of the cable. Observe proper termination techniques to guarantee the system ground is consistent through out the system. Be sure to use only those products and accessories that confirm to the standards set by AES and the Central European Standards organization.
